UniFi SFP:
SFP and SFP+ modules have various applications:Â Connecting two devices over a long distance using fiber cables. Connecting a computer directly to a UniFi switch or gateway at 2.5/5/10Gbps speeds. Connecting a UniFi gateway to an ISP modem at 2.5/5/10Gbps speeds.

10G Data Rate:
10G Ethernet, also known as 10 Gigabit Ethernet or 10GbE, is an Ethernet standard under 802.3ae specification, which helps achieve data transfer rates of 10 billion bits per second. This standard is ten times faster than Gigabit Ethernet. SFP generally offers lower latency than RJ45, especially fiber-based SFP. There is less latency because fiber light travels quicker than the copper lines that RJ45 uses.
