The Ubiquiti UACC-CM-RJ45-1G Gigabit Fibre SFP+ Module is a RJ45 transceiver that can be inserted into an SFP port in order to connect a copper Ethernet cable. Use this SFP to RJ45 module to deliver 1 Gbps speed over Ethernet connections spanning up to 100 metres.
Adding this Gigabit SFP to RJ45 Adapter Module from Ubiquiti to your installation allows you to connect separately purchased copper Ethernet cables to your SFP slot. This transceiver supports up to 1 Gb/s speeds over connections spanning up to 328 feet. SFP, also commonly called mini-GBIC (gigabit interface converter), is designed to be compact enough to use in tight networking spaces but powerful enough to provide fast communication between switches and other important networking equipment.

10G Ethernet, also known as 10 Gigabit Ethernet or 10GbE, is an Ethernet standard under 802.3ae specification, which helps achieve data transfer rates of 10 billion bits per second. This standard is ten times faster than Gigabit Ethernet. SFP generally offers lower latency than RJ45, especially fiber-based SFP. There is less latency because fiber light travels quicker than the copper lines that RJ45 uses.
